It's not the strategy that doesn't work. It's the person.

How many times have you heard people complaining that, this strategy doesn't work, I've tried it before, it just doesn't work.

But how come the other person whom you got this strategy from, is having this strategy working so well for him? You may ask.

Well, I guess it's not the problem of the strategy at all. The problem actually lies on the person that uses that strategy !

In my personal opinion, and from personal experience, I myself have even been thru all the above mentioned stages.

A lot of times, we find one particular strategy, and that we see it working sooooo well on a particular person, making him so successful that we think that if we were to use the same strategy, it would work well with us too.

Little did we notice that, the strategy just doesn't work on us !

Why is that so?

Well, I believe, most of the people, when they see/found a very successful person using a particular strategy, will think that they have found the holy grail to that field, and try to accustom themselves to suit to that strategy.

The truth is, it is much more easier to do it the other way round.

We should be looking/designing a strategy that suits our character/life style/habit, rather than changing ourselves to suit a particular strategy.

Not only it works better on you, you tend to believe that works for you, because the strategy

- aligns with your personal believe
- aligns with your personal values
- aligns with your personal life style
- you feel most comfortable executing it compared to other strategies
- and thus, you will most likely be successful with this strategy in a shorter period of time.

A few of my personal examples/experience:-

Football/soccer

  • Self Realization
    • My pro is in long running stamina.
    • I'm just not good at short sprint.
    • I like long running distance. I'm just not that type of person who is good a sprints, which is what most important to a striker.
  • My own strategy
    • And so, I decided to pick up as a mid fielder instead.
    • Works well on me, as that's what I do best, running up supporting the strikers, and down, backing up the defenders.

Badminton

  • Self Realization
    • I've knee dislocation before.
    • Fast speed does not suit my game.
    • My strength is in my skills/strokes, not power.
  • My own strategy
    • Decided to play a defensive game, rather than an offensive game.
    • Defensive game requires more stroke play, and long haul stamina, while offensive game is a game need-for-speed.

Trading

  • Self Realization
    • I have a full time day job which I like very much.
    • I'm staying in a place which is 16hours ahead of the U.S. time.
  • My own strategy
    • Day trading is definitely out of the question, no matter how much I like to do it.
    • The swing trading  system, suits me well, in terms of time frame wise.

As a whole, finding/designing the right strategy is as important as working hard towards your goal. With the right strategy, you are already half way winning the battle.

And how do you find/design a strategy that suits you?

Well, it all lies within you.

Know yourself better ......

Realize your own strength and weaknesses ......

..... and design your own winning strategy to success.

I think that there's not a good idea to compose the critical essay by your own efforts! For me, it's easier to purchase the business term paper at the classification essay service, because that saves time.
