HDR with Photomatix

My first "WOW" impression on HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos came from the introduction of a friend to me on this site.

I finally got the software (which is PhotoMatix) and had a chance to give it a simple try. It was just a 5 minutes trial, and to be honest, the result of the software looks pretty cool.

Anyway, still have to do more research and trial and error on it. :)

Here's the original 2 photos which I've took from Phuket.......

The above one is the under-exposed, while the below pix is the over-exposed.

And now, here's the combined HDR pix.

What do you guys think?

1. Cool?
2. Very Cool?
3. Noob?

cool......
You probably can try to merge more photos into one. I guess that will make it more impressive.
