I’ have been told, a couple of times, that at times, I am !!!
but i wasn’t really sure about what that really means.

A lot of chinese horoscope read up, and most saying that a person with my birthdate is pretty close to being 神经质

Thus has led me to some interesting readings, and these are my findings which I personally find it pretty closely represent my characteristics.

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuroticism

They respond more poorly to environmental stress
They are often self-conscious and shy

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highly_sensitive_person

HSP students work differently from others. They pick up on the subtle things, learning better this way than when overaroused. If an HSP student is not contributing much to a discussion, it does not necessarily mean they do not understand or are too shy. HSPs often process things better in their heads, or they may be over-aroused. This can be the reason for their not contributing. HSPs are usually very conscientious but underperform when being watched. This also applies to work situations; HSPs can be great employees—good with details, thoughtful and loyal, but they do tend to work best when conditions are quiet and calm. Because HSPs perform less well when being watched, they may be overlooked for a promotion. HSPs tend to socialize less with others, often preferring to process experiences quietly by themselves.[5][12]

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-conscious

An unpleasant feeling of self-consciousness may occur when one realizes that one is being watched or observed, the feeling that “everyone is looking” at oneself
Unpleasant feelings of self-consciousness are sometimes associated with shyness or paranoia.
Private self-consciousness is a tendency to introspect and examine one’s inner self and feelings.
Different levels of self-consciousness affect behavior, as it is common for people to act differently when they “lose themselves in a crowd”

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eysenck_Personality_Questionnaire

Neurotic people, who have low activation thresholds, and unable to inhibit or control their emotional reactions, experience negative affect (fight-or-flight) in the face of very minor stressors – they are easily nervous or upset.
The two dimensions or axes, extraversion-introversion and emotional stability-instability, define four quadrants. These are made up of:
Stable extraverts (sanguine qualities such as – outgoing, talkative, responsive, easygoing, lively, carefree, leadership)
Unstable extraverts (choleric qualities such as – touchy, restless, excitable, changeable, impulsive, irresponsible)
Stable introverts (phlegmatic qualities such as – calm, even-tempered, reliable, controlled, peaceful, thoughtful, careful, passive)

Unstable introverts (melancholic qualities such as – quiet, reserved, pessimistic, sober, rigid, anxious, moody).
Psychotic behavior is rooted in the characteristics of toughmindedness, non-conformity, inconsideration, recklessness, hostility, anger and impulsiveness
