Took some of my children's video clip with my wife's recent acquired iPod.

 

The videos quality turned out to be exceptionally acceptably well. Maybe because I didn't have much high expectation on it.

Hahaah :D

 

Here's Nala seeing sitting on top of a ladder in my study room. (yes, he climbed up there all by himself. The problem is, every time he is up there, I'll have to carry him down after he feels bored, because he doesn't know how to climb down. :p)

Here's Simba, the most teritorial creature in our household.
Anything new that arrives will definitely have to go thru his thorough inspection.

And here's Nala again. He's the most playful among the kids. Given a tennis ball, he can do that all by himself the whole day.

Seen here is Nala playing his tennis ball (stuffed with some tidbits inside :p). The tidbits is stuffed thru a small hole so that to encourage him to exercise and play more with the ball.

Impressive thing is, youtube somehow managed to recognize and determine the 'correct' orientationof this video and flipped it automatically :)

3rd Wedding Anniversary - Penang Hard Rock Hotel

I bought her something which she has been dreaming for quite some time ..... an iPod Nano 4th generation.....









And look at what she have bought for me. :)




Yeah.

It's a DeLongHi Espresso Maker.

and Yes. I Love Coffee ..... VERY MUCH !!! :)











It's all started on Thursday.

We took a 2 day off (Thursday + Friday).

On Thursday, we pampered ourselves at Danai Spa.

Just as the previous visit, we took the Favourite Treats Package, which includes:-

Favourite Treats - 2 hours 30 minutes at RM195 (Usual Price RM230) * RM370 per couple This is the oldest favorite package among guests consisting a massage, a scrub and a bath. 90 minutes Danai Signature or Aromatherapy Massage (RM130) Any 40 minutes worth RM60 Any 20 minutes worth RM40

And as usual, it was Wonderful !!!

The rest of Thursday left us with full anticipation mode for the huge event on Friday.

We actually did our online book for a 1 night stay, sea view room thru this online site. It was pretty fast, and easy.

And so, right when the clock stuck 12 noon, we packed out stuff, and drove out way, heading towards Asia's 3rd Hard Rock Hotel, the Penang Hard Rock Hotel.

 

Straight to the check in counter, we were given a platinum Album, which is suppose to be a limited edition of souvenir given the few early birds.

.... We were number #02126 (meant for those 4D Magnum/Toto gamblers :p).





Straight to our room, which was room #429.

Something here is special.

You need to flag your room card when u enter the lift, and if your room is at the 4th floor, that'll be the only floor that you're gonna be able to access too. All the other buttons have no effect whatsoever no matter how hard to press or blow it. It just won't work.









Straight into the room, into the balcony, and the scenery was really breath taking!!!







One thing we noticed.
Everything, ..... and I really mean EVERYTHING.......was with either a Hard Rock logo ......







..... or a Guitar logo.








Without wasting any valuable time, we immediately activated our exploring mode......





Straight down to the lobby, and to the main entrance .....







.... and a few steps ahead, was the trade mark of that huge guitar logo.....








A few steps to the left, and you'll reach the 2nd Hard Rock Cafe in Malaysia. There was a Micheal Jackson Status right in front of it.....



..... which was where we dine in the late evening. More to that later.







In the afternoon, we took a dip into the largest swimming pool in Penang.

A few rounds of Butterfly Stroke is all it needs to get all the stress away .....

Some playful act is all it needs too release all the and tension .....








And of course, all your worrieswill be 'unloaded' .......












After a wonderful afternoon in the pool, we headed straight to dinner at Hard Rock Cafe.



One special privilege that Hard Rock Hotel guest got is that, when u flash you room card to the waitress, you can cut away all the queues and granted immediate access to a seat. That's cool !!! ^_^

Food there was not cheap, but wasn't really that expensive either, considering the size of the food given.

Service was awesome,

and the atmosphere, no complains

^_^







We spent around an hour or so on dinner, and then walked around continue exploring the surroundings ....

The night ended with a cup of ice wine which we brought over there , before we hit the sack .....












The next morning, we were given a voucher of free breakfast, for 2.




.... and again.....

No Complains on the food

Service was fantastic .....

but the crowd ...... was ..... a bit .... untolerable

A walk to the beach is the best way to digest everything down after a hefty meal .....

.... before we headed back to the hotel lobby with a pair of tiring legs ......









And finally, it was time to say good bye.

It was really a very enjoyable, relaxing, and unforgettable holiday for both of us.

And we are planning to come back here again next year, this time :)

But one last thing, I still dun get it why Dan is soooo obssess with this thing the entire time ......

Just Came Back From A Very Nice Holiday from Penang Hard Rock Hotel, celebrating our 3rd year wedding anniversary.

 

It was undeniably the best holiday I've ever had.

No long trips ....
No long flights ......
No seasick .....
No headaches ......
No exhaustion .....



No meetings with stupid people .....







No backstabs from 7x7 49 directions .....






And No Fire-Fighting on bad logs / programming issues .....









Pure relaxing ....











Pure enjoying .....









and Pure Fun ...... :p

 

Ahhhh ...... Not much time to update. Will have a full post on it soon. Stay tune.

Right now only know that, my HP is finally stoppped out.

Last Saturday, we all went to G-Hotel's G-Cafe to have a small family celebration for my dad's 62nd birthday.

The reason we chose it is because we haven't dined in here before.

 

 

The theme buffet of that day was Sizzling International Buffet.

 

Lucky for us, and thanks to Dan for placing an early booking, we had reserved ourselves a nice place with a pretty cool scenery view ^_^

 

 

 

As usual, my first stop in any international buffet is the Japanese counter.

 

 

 

....... but , tell you the truth, the Salmon Sashimi here sucks.

Fish not fresh. Although generous enough that the slices are fat, they tasted a bit ...... powdery, which is a sign of not fresh.

Disappointed ............. especially for a freaking RM85/= buffet.

 

 

 

 

Hahahaha ..... this is the facial expression of Dan before tasting the sashimi :p

Nontheless, Dan likes the buns and butter.

Ahhhhhhhhh .............. forgot to mention.

Buffet includes free flow of fruit juices, soft drinks, and Calsberg ............ ......... ............ Hahahaha :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Was a bit disappointed with the price paid versus the food after tasted the sashimi, until i hit for tsizzling counter and hit the jackpot ................. Grill lamb ..........

 

 

It is raw !!!!

The meat is cooked at the outside, pinky red in the inside.
Juicy, and creamy.
Now only i realized, that I actually love red meat to be raw.

 

 

 

After some 2 hours of food, took a walk around the hotel ...............

The feel and ambient, to be honest, is really nice and cosy .....................

 

 

 

 

Can't deny the fact that it's a very high class hotel ...............

 

 

 

 

 

.............. and someone hit the G-Spot ????

 

 

 

 

 

Last but not least, just like any football match, we too have the "Player Of The Match" ...........

 

 

All in all, everyone enjoyed the dinner very much ^_^
